Today, I want to write about multi-sensory perception or multidimensionality.
I haven’t focused much on that here on my blog or on Instagram except in the post about twin my twin flame journey, even though I write about it in my book and even though it is part of the spiritual awakening and our human evolution.
By multi-sensory perception or multidimensionality, I mean experiencing life beyond the five senses and beyond our conditioned thinking, which has been humanity’s dominant way of perceiving reality.
A few examples are experiencing other dimensions, knowing things you cannot possibly know other than through insights, telepathy, communicating with people’s higher self, receiving visions, communicating with spirit guides, or sensing the energy fields of people and places. (There are probably many more ways).
For me, some of those new dimensions and ways of experiencing reality opened up when I met my twin flame over ten years ago.
Before that, I had had insights from beyond the mind and had many intuitive insights since my spiritual journey began. But when I met my twin flame, those new dimensions really began to open up (you can read about my twin flame journey here).
Since I had no prior experience, it took time to learn how to live with and integrate those experiences into my daily existence as a human being. It was a new reality that I had to gradually integrate until it started to become more natural to me.
For a long time, I didn’t tell anyone about my experiences even when they had become natural to me. Both because I didn’t know how to explain them and because I was afraid of what would happen if I shared them (ten years ago, the awakening had not come as far as it has today collectively – there is much more openness now).
So, I tried to put my experiences into the old framework/paradigm and explain my insights in a way that made sense to others without sharing that I was perceiving reality differently.
But after some years, I realized that that new way of experiencing life needed to be fully integrated and accepted. I needed to be open about it, even on the outside. And there was such a relief in that.
Explaining our new reality to those who haven’t yet developed or opened up to those faculties can be challenging.
And at the moment, it is almost as if there are two “humanities” – one species living in the old and familiar ways and one that has developed new sensory and dimensional openness.
But I believe that in time, we will all develop those abilities and that it is part of our human evolution to do so.
