Spending time alone is essential as we awaken.
We can’t awaken fully and find our inner voice and guidance without spending time alone, away from other people, society, social media, and all the daily input that constantly reminds us of our old paradigm and who we have been conditioned to be, or who we used to be.
If we truly want to know ourselves, we need to make space for our inner voice and listen to our inner life without constant distractions or external demands.
Time to heal and process
We need to give ourselves space to heal and process what is happening inside and in our lives without rushing through it.
- Time to let things unfold without interference from the outside.
- Time to listen to our inner voice and needs without demanding they be different.
- Time to be without putting a time limit on our healing or grief.
It can be invaluable to have help or assistance on our awakening journey if it is the right help for us, but we also need time when we don’t discuss our situation with others.
Time when we can just be with ourselves and what is, where we can make space for healing to happen or for something new to appear without input from the outside.
When we do, we make space for our own inner wisdom, and for our inner life to reveal what it needs or yearns for.
Time to just be
We also need time alone when we don’t actively process what is going on or focus on healing or awakening, but reconnect with who we are on a deeper level.
Time when we can just BE.
When we give ourselves that time, we can begin to hear our inner yearnings, dreams, and visions.
And we can remember what used to make us happy before life took over and made us “responsible adults”, or before some problematic event or situation started to take up more and more of our focus and time.
It’s beautiful to see what dreams and happy memories can appear when we give ourselves that time when we have space to BE.
When we give ourselves time to dream or time in nature without a goal other than just being (and without the heaviness of daily responsibilities), we can reconnect with who we are – and who we were before the world told us who to be.
We get to know ourselves and remember who we are and what matters to us.
And when we do, we can bring that version of ourselves back into our lives and make changes that make us truly fulfilled and happy.
