When you find no solution to a problem, it’s probably not a problem to be solved, but a truth to be accepted.”

This quote is such a powerful reminder that sometimes the answer to a problem is this: surrendering and accepting that there is nothing more we can do.
I am all for trying, and I do my best and give my all when it comes to the things that matter to me. And I definitely go after my dreams and what I believe in.
But I have also learned to let go. To realize when there is nothing more I can do. And I know there can be such a relief to surrender and stop trying when things just aren’t working.
There is power in giving our all. But there is also power in letting go.
If we have tried and given our all, and things are still not working, it’s not up to us anymore. It’s probably not a problem to be solved but a truth to be accepted.
When we surrender, sometimes other possibilities also open up that we couldn’t see before.
It has happened to me several times.
When I let go of something I have been working too hard on, sometimes a new possibility shows itself – one where I don’t have to bang my head against the wall or overextend myself to make things happen.
I end up in better situations that are more suitable for what I am trying to do instead of staying stuck trying to solve problems where they can’t be solved.
There is relief in seeing things as they are instead of trying to make them into what we wish they were.
There is relief in surrendering to what we cannot change.
It doesn’t mean that we give up on what we believe in. But when we surrender and accept what we cannot change, we take back our energy. And we surrender to what is.
When we do, we are also more open to new possibilities because we make space for them to come in.
And sometimes, they are exactly what we need.
